I started this blog to post entries related to my dream of One Knowledge, One Work project. For last few years I had the privileges to work closely with people from different background, in particular, I worked with local groups in my native land Bangladesh to create jobs for young people. These experiences provided me the tangible certainty to expand the One Knowledge, One Work project worldwide.
In the process I learned lots of lessons and gained valuable experiences. I observed Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can be a great tool to ensure a necessary “knowledge” for each person in the world which I believe can lead to ensure a “work” for everyone. It is possible, provided we are able to reach the global population with the help of ICT.
This will also allow the ICT-based businesses to grow their horizon beyond one’s imagination. As of this writing Facebook is running towards maturity with more than 500 million active users whereas the total population of the world is 6.92 billion. Even though, only Facebook does not represent total Internet users but it indicates significant amount of people are still outside the scope of ICT. I believe success for ICT based businesses, in future, relies on the ability to reach more and more people all around the globe.
