SOVoIP: Technology to Reach to These Kids Before the Vultures Reach Them

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) promises to ease the communication of different automated systems. Thus, Service Oriented VoIP (SOVoIP) can ensure better access to different systems to the users with their finger tips. Such an extendible behavior can, not only bring technical benefits but also social benefits to the users.

There are places in the world where lack of knowledge kills people, as shown in the picture. People from these regions do not have knowledge such as boiling water can save them from the diseases caused by unpurified water. Lack of information exchange and knowledge transfer causes such catastrophic end.

In such scenario, SOVoIP promises better information exchange and knowledge transfer with the help of easy technical integration processes between different systems. Besides the specific scenario described here, such extendible feature will help systems to be more mature with available information from different sources.

As we have seen the rise of One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) concept, we can certainly look forward to SOVoIP with similar expectation. Moreover, SOVoIP will be much cheaper way to disseminate knowledge and will have broader impact on the society. Because, the benefits of SOVoIP, will reach to the people with cheaper telephony devices. Finally, SOVoIP will give us a way to reach to the kids in the picture before the vultures reach them.
